Have heard many tech experts (yes...MANY) recently sound alarms that unregulated AI is anywhere from five years to six months (!) away from 'escaping the box' and becoming self-sufficient. What's even more frightening is that most of the scenarios that can occur from this event won't be exactly beneficial to current human life as we know it.
But hey, at least BNY will have saved some $$'s by decreasing their human workforce.

I only believe it this way: that they are committed 100% to throwing more employees in the woodchipper to justify the expense.
