I’m absolutely appalled. Our new CIO replacement isn’t technical at all. Never even touched code, hasn’t built anything, and didn’t spend a single day in the trenches as an engineer. Instead, they’ve spent their career bouncing around Tier 3 companies. What an absolute delight. I mean, why settle for someone who’s actually technically capable when you can have someone who can talk the talk without ever walking the walk? Welcome to the future of tech leadership, I guess. 🙄

It's very disturbing, the way Nike is hiring and operating especially when it comes to cxo's under tech and their abilities, will you put a software engineering leader as a dean to a medical college? No right!! Very soon direction less layoffs will start again by someone who has zero clue of their job and pressing the red button whenever they want..am out... this is the nail in the final coffin...I will post under this thread or a new one after hunting a job which can have stability and vision...yoo eh fire both of them before whole gt sink next to titanic
Someone should initiate a speakup request to initiate an investigation into the background of them presenting relevant evidence to support the claim.
