I think my hard work is finally about to pay off. I have a meeting with my manager this afternoon, and I’m pretty sure he’s going to let me know I’ll be promoted to AVP. Just goes to show—when you put your mind to something, you can achieve anything..

@OP let me tell you. It’s not as good as you think. I’m currently one and recently resigned. They will throw everything at you, if you have direct reports. They will su-k the life out of you. They will complain about everything, so will clients, and your management’s management on why you aren’t making the bank more money. When you brought in over several million in just a few months. My highlight of my last week is watching Netflix and YouTube videos all day.
