Everyone is turning their backs to DEI. it's worthless and harmful to the company. It needs to go and go fast.

DEI is alive and well on my team. Looks like they checked all the boxes.
DEI? Honestly VZ has only done lip service to it by pushing ERG as their DEI initiatives. As a hiring manager I could pick who ever I wanted, there are no quotas and I hire the best for the role. VZ does not hire overseas workers for DEI, it's because of capitalism it's WAY cheaper, he-l overseas care reps 50 to 70% less than US based care.
I wish they would STOP begging us to join the Political Action Committee (PAC) with money coming out of our paychecks.
It is annoying and telling me what to contribute is total BS. Not a dime from me, 12 years and counting
vz loves dei -- they want to get 100% diversity by having the company be made up of only indian staff. That would cause their dei score to be unbeatable. Totally diverse!
What is BHM?
Be careful of what you wish for, look at how Target isn’t doing well since removing DEI. We’ll lose customers, everyone should be afforded an opportunity for employment. I would be open for even a woman being CEO if she can help drive this company for the better and also listen to the front line.

DEI does not equate to Affirmative Action @av+1jm0t0pps, BHM, LOL. DEI includes women, disabled, etc. from all nationalities. I know a WW in the middle west that lost her fed govt job due to DEI.
Hopefully soon, probably in March. Can't do it during BHM, or can they?
