Scandal at the top already? CVS Se-ual Harassment Coverup

The new CEO came from CVS and he said he oversaw the east part of the country with his peer overseeing the other half of the US. Given that he lives in the east by New Jersey, he has to be the direct “superior” of the accused and very high probability he is part of the se-ual harassment cover up in the below article. Also, the timing fits into when he came over as I heard he was supposed to start two or three months after the sale, but came over early.

Anyone else concerned about this getting into our campuses partners hands or those trying to win our campuses? My campus would give notice within minutes as we are already on the rocks with them. Why can’t we get leadership without baggage!

The new owners and RP had to of asked why he was coming early, right?

Working on finding the case number now where “you” are not mentioned yet but your DM is. If your DM is charged, you most certainly were involved as they would have needed to bring it to your attention. Also seems strange that we heard “you” would not be joining right away and then joined as this came out. Remember, that culture “you” created was guilty before proven innocent. I am sure CVS will pay them off like they did for their part I the opi--d situation. The interesting part is our campuses are judges that don’t need a court hearing or trail. They think this holds any weight… well we all know.

Ps- I don’t think that is EK but if so, that’s a new level of desperation. More likely LH

Oh my! This is complete BS and not even worth the reply. But, here you go. There was NOT a scandal and this is completely made up by the current goons workings at Follett. I’m so sick of my reputation being tarnished by ungrateful hooligans. I have a reputation and family the keep up. Making up lies like this will ruin me. Please stop!

Any word on this? Heard those that were se-----y as----ted by the CVS DM are moving forward with action. Wondering what happens if there is even any tie to back. Despite what the last executive member said, campus have left us for less than this.

You have only speculation and you’re calling it in to HR over and over. Perhaps HR isn’t doing anything because there’s nothing there aside from your eagerness to destroy someone you don’t even know based on reading between the lines of a news story. CVS did an investigation and fired people but felt he didn’t need firing. You must be one sad loser.

So I called this in and heard nothing. I know two others that called it in also.

To HR…
Should we take this info to our campus contacts, campus news papers, or greater media outlet tying the person to the crime, and that they are working in education now for Follett? Per what CVS had to do, maybe that’s the only way to get this addressed.

So we are comparing this to a legal trail? Okay, lets. Given the below, there would be enough evidence to take this to court and that’s where the verdict is decided.

That all said, Follett is not investigating so there is not an opportunity to find justice, guilty or innocent.

Also, se-ual harassment should be taken seriously and allegations investigated. That is what the below posters are saying. If he is innocent, then nothing to worry about.

So, what happened to innocent until proven guilty? Is the allegation good enough to ruin someone?

There has not been a word about it, but we all know and HR is ignoring. Maybe they mentioned it at the GVP meeting at the Tower! I know two people that called it in, and nothing. Mr Heat get laid off also?!

Colleges tend to be very aware of their image, and PR is huge. So when they find out that the new CEO was aiding a se-ual harasser, you're going to see a lot of campuses seriously rethinking their partnership with Follett. It's only a matter of time until word starts to spread. Be prepared to start getting questions from your campus contacts.

Any updates on this? Has EK addressed the allegations?

CNN, New York Post, Wall Street Journal, CNBC, Boston Global, and NBC typical don't quote the CEO of CVS, which is know to be a very creditable women, saying that it was in New Jersey to create rumors.

So if CVS doesn’t release the spy footage and classified documents, it didn’t happen?

Shame how you are making women feel that work at Follett from what your post is inferring. Seems like they should be silent about it, and ignore, if you didn’t catch it on camera and there was no name in the article?

Even if his name was not tied directly to the article, but there is probable cause that he was involved, I would ask that our HR team lives up to the values of Integrity and Each and Every Associate by asking CVS to comment privately and launching our own investigation.

I am a women in the field that has unfortunately seen this in my other company. I feel that if our HR ignores it then there is substance to it and we are no better than CVS. If it is not true, then dispel it as it’s spreading fast.

Shame on those that brought him on knowing, or not asking, such as RP and the PE. Turning a blind eye is just as bad.

You must be somewhat new to the company, we receive termination notices for a lot less than rumors.

It is actually very easy to tie him to this by just using common sense, searching Reddit for his name and the icing is the people I know from CVS that confirmed the reporting structure and he was the accused superior. Us miserable retail managers stick together :).

Reddit string below. I made his name EK on here but Reddit has it spelled out.
————

The article says store manager instead of region director which could be confusing to readers lol

" in December became aware of complaints made by at least two femaleemployees alleging that a New Jersey-based regional store manager hadeither harassed or inappropriately touched them at work, the peoplesaid."

Anyways, this confirms the rumors from earlier this year. RD, DVP, HRBP were basically fired, and EK either was given a chance to resign on his own before the investigation concluded, or ran before he was fired. Either way, great news, hopefully.

Unless this is actually confirmed, it's irrelevant. Most campuses aren't going to care about some rumors started by some anonymous person on a random website.

If it comes out that, yes, it really is him, then I do see that being problematic. But until then, nothing will come of it.
