I find it interesting that WF states you cannot ask a coworker their vaccination status but by requiring the unvaccinated to wear masks you are essentially disclosing vaccination status Also the comments of vaccinated folks are so illogical and evil it would be an unsafe environment. I can’t believe vaxed folks wish reviled things on people. That’s mental.

e of the few scientific facts that are proven beyond all doubt is that masks have absolutely no protection to those wearing them nor do they aid in stopping transmission to others.
On true PPE such as N95 masks can protect people from getting COVID.
Meck county no longer requires masking.

I guess it is ok to spread flu and other respiratory viruses that can ki-l. I see we are not getting tested for those.
You seem to associate with a lot of a-holes. None of my friends are doing stupid stuff, at least not that I've seen. I suppose anyone could be licking Walmart door knobs in their spare time, but my peeps are generally just working on the house/land, working, and staying home for that most part.
@1lni+1eftdNjf specifically the connectivity issues in India are not always the best. Especially if it’s hot or rainy season, Specifically there is already tremendous feedback when on calls. These individuals are still working from home so they are not wearing mask and neither is anyone on the phone in America wearing mask and sound has been an ongoing issue. To have to speak with a headset or phone or skype/teams meeting with a mask is the most absurd thing, i have a hard time hearing people at restaurants who are face to face who have them on it muffles certain words especially if that individual is soft spoken, not everyone is loud or likes to pronounce words. Plus the mask I tend wear have filters in them. You would not imagine how many times my husband says take the mask off i can’t hear or understand what you are saying. We are sitting face to face. To have to do it for id would say 7 hours a day speaking on highly technical subject matter is nuts!!! Especially when no one and i mean no one lives in the same city as me on this project.

Handicap aside - how can you not understand someone with a mask on? Does the mask affect your ears? Does it garble their language into nonsense? Do they suddenly stop speaking your language? I work with people across the globe, and a mask has never prevented me from understanding them.

I spend 95% of my day on the phone. And I’d say 1/2 of that time is with our international team. Please explain how they expect me to properly discuss business with already language barriers fully masked? I’m asking because this is making absolutely no sense whatsoever.
How about all of those pictures of higher-ups at WF events not maintaining social distancing and not wearing masks in clear violation of corporate policy...which us minions must adhere to?
To restate the obvious, the CDC has also been on record saying that masks do nothing to prevent the spread of COVID or to protect the wearer from infection. Even Fauci has stated many times that the only benefit of the mask is a psychological feeling of well being to the wearer. This has been the settled science format least 30 years.
Now the N95 masks are actual PPE devices which do indeed protect the wearers from infection. They are now easy to find and not too expensive to buy in bulk.

WF keeps saying their top priority is the heath/safety of employees and customers. Squeezing thousands of us in buildings during a pandemic is not aligned with that statement - whether employees are masked, vaccinated, or not. I have been taking every precaution to keep myself and my family safe. I am not going to risk our health/lives so I can sit in a cube and do the same job I have been doing effectively (exceeding expectations) in my home office for 7 years. Our health is more important to us than this bank. Already working on my exit strategy to a company that cares about employee health and wellbeing.

This is what I’ve witnessed personally: Sick bride didn’t want to ruin her big day, so she went forward with her wedding, no mask, and didn’t inform her guests, tested positive next day. Unsymptomatic guy had to get tested to go to a concert, tested positive, then went to a packed gym every day no mask because he didn’t believe the science that he could be contagious. Sick woman went on vacation with friends because she didn’t want to ruin her vacation, friends all got sick and tested positive. Cousin got sick, spent 3 weeks in hospital and has permanently diminished lung capacity and still behaves recklessly, no masks or vaccines one year later. Unvaccinated friend, who cares for her 94 year old father wears no mask and follows no social distancing policies to keep herself safe for the sake of her own father.
These are all people whom I would have never expected to act as they have, but during Covid- the fact is that they just can’t be inconvenienced by acting responsibly and thoughtfully. So rules must be put in to place for public safety because of people like this. Same idea as trying to keep drunks from getting behind the wheels of a car.
They also defer to local rules. The county that Charlotte is in (and assuming some Cali places) have mask mandates in place for everyone. Not sure if people are following, but technically everyone in those offices would be required to wear a mask.
I’m vaccinated, but avoid masking so as to potentially help spread it to unvaccinated people. I feel it’s my civic duty to help humanity trim some fat.

I’m vaccinated and dont care if you are. However, Id really love for the unvaccinated to shut up already about all of us sheeple and how we are this and that. You guys spout out a bunch of lies and pretend to be the majority. You’re not! The majority of Americans are vaccinated or have at least one shot. We all know if you had one you COULD still catch it and/or spread it. But guess what? Those who have, are less likely to die or get very sick. Most likely, you won’t be hospitalized or on a ventilator or have the long haul symptoms. The only comments I’ve seen that are illogical and evil are from the unvaccinated when they say things like we are too stupit to “get” that we can still get sick or how we are drinking the koolaid. These types of posts are what is causing all the fighting. If you have an opinion about it, cool. Keep it to yourself and don’t get the shot.
Vaccinated and planning to mask. I’ve already heard that zero people are masking on the campus that I am supposed to go to. I have managed to not catch covid yet and I do not want to catch it at WF.
You haven't observed much. Positive test means not going to the office right? Yeah, I'm sure the unvaccinated are Google searching right now to figure out how to dupe the test into a false negative. From what I have observed: many of the unvaccinated don’t want to get tested if they have symptoms because they don’t want to have to quarantine if it comes back positive. And they don’t want to be inconvenienced by wearing masks or staying out of public settings when they are sick. They appear to be self- serving, with little regard for those around them. Therefore, the unvaccinated are not trustworthy and have to have certain rules imposed on them to protect the health and lives of others.
Wise people are wearing masks WITHOUT BEING TOLD TO. That's what responsible adults do.

Uhh, CDC does recommend that the fully vaccinated wear masks indoors, especially areas of high transmission, which an office definitely would be. Sooo...

It’s an interesting dynamic for sure. Recently I was booked for a team meeting and no vax was asked; one week before (and after we booked flights) mgr asked if everyone was vax (ob assuming yes) and when one or more was not vax had to cancel the meeting last minute. The ironic thing is that we would see more of co wonders via zoom (non mask) than in person with masks!
Actually in the FAQ said only unvaccinated wear masks just like OSHA.
Everyone will have masks, so nothing is being disclosed to anyone.
