Being forced into offices that are noisy, inefficient, and uncomfortable has made everybody nervous and short-tempered. Even a small ask can get an over-the-top reaction - and I don't even blame people for being like that. Those who are calling it the "great leap backward" are right.

@am I didn’t follow the rules for 3 years before I retired (a week before the 3 day RTO) I was doing a fabulous job and no one missed me. Times have changed. Your like one of those people in a prison camp who gets anxious the guards will beat them based on someone else’s behavior.

What a bunch of ungrateful cry babies. Do your 3 days or find a new job. The rest of us don’t want a bunch of soft teenagers sc--wing it up for the rest of us. We are better off without you if you can’t stomach 3 whole days in the office. Many of us worked 5 days in the office for years. We are lucky with what we have.
Chase did Not go to 5 RTO because employees weren't compliant or weren't coming into the office for the mandated 3 Days.
Chase and CEO Dimon were always intent and H3ll bent on going back to the antiquated pre-Covid ways.
They just eased into it. First it was 2 days, then 3 days, now all 5 days every week !
Whether or not employees were following the 3 Days RTO mandate, Chase always intended to go back to the ancient ways where employees are exhausted from and spend money on commuting (public transit, parking, tolls, petroleum, lunch/food, etc.).
Same with GS. But then, Chase and GS know they generally pay higher salaries and bonuses than most companies.

This is crazy, have y'all completely lost the ability to operate?
We have been expected to be in the office 3 days a week for a long time. I am hoping people follow the rules now because I don’t want to end up being here 5 days. I know it has happened with other companies. The employees don’t follow the rules and then they go full on Chase and require every damn day. Please do your 3 days for at least 6 hours.
