Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

We'll see a 5-day RTO sooner or later

They'll implement it once it becomes another convenient way to drive additional attrition.

Charlie here - I said we aren’t going to 5 days RTO. Start attending the town halls so you can be better informed.

Always yours

Lots of trolls “doing the needful” here. Haha. I think you know who I’m talking about.

Troll. FRTO and all the losers that support it! The world will be a better place when you’re all gone.

@cq

I agree. If they gave me a dedicated, assigned desk I would come in more often.

Literally tens of thousands of WF employees were WFH prior to the scamdemic. It's good for the company because it shifts 'housing' costs to the employee. Employees don't mind because it saves them money as well. It saves both groups time. Better BCP. Much less calling in sick. Much less HR issues. No WFH group ever decides to unionize, and that's not a coincidence.

end of the day it will be the current status quo for at least the next year and will be up to each individual LOB to determine how many days in the office with the overall guidance being a hybrid schedule. While I may be in the minority, I personally don't mind coming into the office and do so 4/5 days per week. What info mind is being under the microscope. Remove the microscope, give people assigned seating, and you probably see a lot more compliance and happier more engaged employees.

@am - town hall was at convention center. New campus isn’t done yet.

There are still some id--ts like @an+1jjanv5qq talking about pandemic. Pandemic has nothing to do with RTO. Stop watching MSNBC.

Sigh

@an I haven't spent a single day in an office since 2013.

Stop acting like it was pandemic related.

Stop your whining. You worked 5 days a week in the office before COVID. Get over your entitled self. Pandemic is over and so is WFH. Now move back to your real home location and sell your lake, mountain, beach, golf course house that you bought during the pandemic.

@ak Scharf also did his town hall from the new $850 million buildings that they denied were happening & said all the rumors were false for years. Don’t trust anything they say.

Scharf said no to 5 days on the town hall this morning. He said they see being able to offer it a competitive advantage over others.

I'll admit, I'm kind of warming to the idea of returning to the office after more than a decade away.

Since I live in a more conservative part of a liberal state, I'll enjoy showing up as a middle-aged man with a beard dressed like a woman. I'll do it just to troll the conservatives who want us back in the office. I'll also make my voice like Vera De Milo so they think I sound secksy.

Yes. Why else are they building new parking garages and updating buildings? It’s not for 3 days in office.
