Thread regarding Oracle Corp. layoffs

Need some advice

This might be the wrong place to ask this, but I am a bit desperate. Do you have any tips for an interview with Oracle? It's for a software engineer position. I'm just hoping to get some input from people who have done it before, and I'm not sure where else to ask. If you find the time to answer, thank you!

It depends where. Engineering interviews are different in every department. Zero consistency. This is like asking “Can I get tips for interviewing in the software industry”. One thing I see having worked in different product lines - if anyone seems like their time is more valuable then yours - run like he-l. They are looking for bodies and your work life is going to suck. Pretty common behavior.

My interview was good the team was friendly, the questions were not too bad this is a good place, helpful team and good staff, senior engineers were good, this is good company now , a process of designing a database model as well as when you’re analyzing your data. Understanding these relations is somehow natural and not so complex but is still essential in the database theory (and practice).
