Aren't we supposed to receive the QR codes from IT within 10 days of our last working day? Otherwise how on earn am I going to return the laptop and other equipment?

I wasn't waiting for my manager to issue as by Wednesday still didn't receive, so I requested myself.
I got a text on my phone stating you are invited to 1 cvs on Dec 15th with a QR code. No mention of a reason ... I just ignored the invitation! Not sure if it was for the equipment return.
Anyone else got a similar text?
figure it out with your manager and definitely return it. the laptops aren't worth what they'll charge you.
Sure don’t return the equipment. They will just hire a collection agency to harass you about it.
All of it. Even wanted my used keyboard and mouse. Yuck
anyone know what equipment needs to be returned? is it just the laptop?
Fu-k them. If they lay you off don’t do free work for them. In fact don’t even put any effort in to return equipment. Most states have laws where employers cannot withhold wages for unreturned equipment. They have to settle such issues through the courts if they even bother , which they won’t.
Your manager must request a ticket through IT. And yes make sure you give them your personal email address when requesting a IT ticket
Your direct manager must request a ticket through IT to return all equipment.
Ask your manager to assist. That’s what I did and got it all sent back fine. Don’t want your pay affected.
If they haven't provided the link or hardcopy of the qr code don't go chasing there a-s down with IT. The number they give you is the IT that resets your password, profiles, vip, and other normal IT trouble shooting. They're only reading a script. If they haven't sent you anything that's a failure in their process and they can eat the cost.
I still have all my sh-t a year later and nobody has come knocking. I went through the calling IT thing twice and after that it was a big fu---t.
Befoe I forget, make sure to tell them to attach actual codes to the email sent to your personal account. The genius I was dealing with sent me a link inside the CVS systems to retrieve for myself, despite me telling him my access was revoked.
@ajm+1uZJBUVB why are you doxing someone’s email? You should remove this.
I'm pretty sure the documents we got included info about calling the IT service center to get the codes, and they can send it to your personal email address. The official layoff email I got from my manager (after the important business update mtg) was cc'ed to my cvs account as well as personal. Better to unload it, you don't want that karma in your home office.
If you haven't gotten the link to your work or personal email nor USA postal guess what it's now yours to keep. Just don't use the laptop.
