@dg They could still do October. If you are NOTIFIED prior to the actual grant date, you are not eligible for the grant. And since no one knows what the actual grant date will be, October is still feasible.

@dg It’s because all of these dates are being pulled out of someone’s backside because they have zero legit info.
Last pay check is 12/30. Minus 60 days from that date is 10/30. Therefore, it will happen on or before 10/30.
Why postpone until October? I thought the whole reason for the September date was to avoid a stock together 2026 for those who would be impacted? Not trying to upset anyone, a genuine question.
I think people should figure out how to make money outside of Verizon. It is harder as you get older. You need multiple income streams. Lay offs are so common these days.

I understand that some of you may be filling up an empty copy paper box with photos, fidget toys, beanie babies, a Zen garden, a shiny plaque that reads "Straight Fives Will Keep You Alive" and a coffee cup that reads "I Have The Bestest Boss" before taking the walk of shame out the door for the last time, all the while, denying anyone is getting riffed. One of the last times this happened people were actually on here claiming is wasn't happening while people were getting notified in the middle of meetings and the meetings had to be cut short. I watched two people on camera have someone pull them away before the meeting organizer explained what just happened and asked if we could cut it short and reschedule. That is some sad sh!t to watch.
Why do I know they were on here at that time? Because after the meeting ended, I immediately opened the site to see people posting that it didn't happen as people were posting that it had just happened to them.
For once I would like to see one of these fake a$$ posers come back with the testicular fortitude to say, "Yeah I sc--wed the pooch on that one."

HR and some Senior Directors met this week for 15 minutes... I'm guessing it wasn't to ask how things are going and hreat lunch spots in town. Also multiple VPs came into NJ, seems like something is happening. I guess we will find out soon.
