The misery machine

This is the most miserable and unpleasant workforce I have witnessed in my career; Mckinsey's magnum opus of misery is the hallmark and extent of attention RV has given BNY culture.

If you stay long enough at BNY you will become ghouls like our execs. Some of these fallen humans are sitting around you now, you can see the vacant look in their eyes.

If you are outside this company and read this board, don't even entertain the idea of working here... heed this warning from someone that bought into their bullsh*t

Grow up child. You should have learned these lessons in childhood.

@aj, learn to save for a rainy day. It's one of the most valuable lessons you could learn. It's related to delayed gratification, which if learned, almost automatically sets you up to be successful.

I'd love to know if RV, even for one brief second, has any pang of conscience when signing off the latest round of 'rationalisation'. Is there a fleeting image of someone terrified of not being able to pay next month's bill? When I came here from 'across the pond', as a Brit I was made to feel hugely welcomed, made lifelong friends, now, in the lift (still won't call it an elevator!) when someone hears the accent you can sense the disdain or suspicion. And it isn't anything I've done or haven't done. We all know why it is.
Sad thing is I don't blame you.
