“I can hear the DEPENDS shuffle now! All these senior employees flocking to a job where they are encouraged to sit for eight hours everyday. Geriatric's rejoice!”
LOL!
“ What work group will these 300 new call centers reps belong to?”
The group called “Vendor”
Correct, there is a plan to move 8000 jobs away from vendors that do call center support on behalf of AT&T”
**If you do a search, ATT sends out this message every few years. I work in a call center. Long time employee. Every time I have to send feedback on another rep it is always a non-ATT employee. They bring them back from overseas but still will be a vendor

What work group will these 300 new call centers reps belong to?
We will see if that happens. T is moving work offshore and to vendors faster than you can say 1,2,3. I don’t see them bringing back 8,000 jobs to the U.S. and using badged employees that they have to pay benefits to.
T is in debt! They don’t want to pay benefits where they don’t have to and want cheap labor at all cost and definitely not tied to a union contract.
This is a good plan:
Correct, there is a plan to move 8000 jobs away from vendors that do call center support on behalf of AT&T and bring it back to internal employees. Back to Future. This plan will help keep overall numbers for employees about the same with a twist of adding lower level union employees and replacing around the same amount managers but to wall street things will seem the same. It benefits AT&T financially. Get rid of highly paid managers, and replace with lower wage union employees.
so, lets lay off the elderly and then rehire them at grocery store pay to rot in a chair. they don't walk much anyway
Not only costco runs doing work hours, but disney and universal
Vendors or employees?
