Thread regarding CVS layoffs

Toxic toxic toxic

CVS culture is extremely toxic. I left my job last month! There is nothing but corruption, favoritism and cover ups. I love how some employees can end up on performance plans and then moved to different roles to protect their friends, but others if they’re not friends with the manager are scrutinized and micromanaged! If you’re still working at CVS I pray you find something new very soon.

It's because they are all nepotism babies.

Such and such director pipelines their kid into a role. My former director did that. Kid is an id--t.

@154

Anyone who has stayed in the same leadership role for over a decade is there because they are toxic.

besides bad leadership. working alongside these rotational associates is ANNOYING. Whoever is running the GMDP and Tech programs needs to do a better job by putting them through some emotional intelligence or self awareness training. so glad they cut budget on these programs this year. these fresh grads have no actual real world experience. These are the future leaders?? No one to lead by example here.

This is exactly what happened in the clinical space of Medicaid. So many talented leaders leaving after years of work and dedication due to an angry women letting her friends be a mean girls club. Everyone saw what was happening, including Mark Santos being asked by marker CEO’s to step in and they all did nothing. Shameful.

I worked in a department at CVS where the manager had been allowed to do absolutely nothing, always calling off and the manager did not know how to do anything while the supervisors and team leads ran the team. When it was brought up to leadership they closed their eyes. And that’s when I knew it was time to leave. The individual hired all their friends and protected them from performance plans. While the people they didn’t like were pushed out.

Favoritism is especially rampant in corp comms. Theres a certain executive director (same initials as the ex CEO) who’s a bully and responsible for many talented people leaving.

That's what happens when you hire friends and relatives.

Best is when you're accused of things you never did all because someone slept with your boss and had a fatal attraction thing going.
