The thing with GT has traditionally been leaders are put in charge of areas they have no clue about or experience with because they survived a layoff and are part of a click... fast forward to the next one and because they have no clue what they are in charge of and want to kerp their allies close to mask their incompetence, they volunteer people who actually are knowledgeable and produce results to save their butts and their alliances and after a few cycles incompetence and lack of any real skill or strategy to move the ball forward is all that is left. Instead you have big talkers using buzz words and no clue how to execute. Look at former EDAI as an example...

@a6 Except the reorgs never actually make things run smoother and it's obvious the people who decide who to layoff and which teams to offshore have close to no idea what work is actually being done, or who's doing it
