As for the Republicans saying they're not touching social security, Medicaid, & medicare... I came across a video today where it was being discussed that an "honest" republican came forward and basically admitted anyone on SS or getting ready to join is safe. It's people younger than 50-ish they're planning on sticking it to.
I watched it while I have my keyboard clicker doing the work for Sapience.
And playing the role of Linda McMahon for the SSA....Frankie Bagodonuts! It will be interesting (and horrifying) to watch which one of these departments dies first. What a race to the bottom.

I think Frankenserve needs a math lesson. Moving the decimal to the right 6 digits would increase fraud from .01 approximately 999999 percent increase in fraud. I bet FB knows where to send the fraudulent activity - to his and his circle of family checking accounts. He needs to make up for his loss of income from fiserv

I am. He's doing quite well. Will be interesting to see how he, Drumpf and Musk dance together. He came across as knowledgeable, ready to run the admin and not be strong armed by Musk and like he actually cares about people.
Lets see how things go. How will he dance with people who he can't simply fire.

I think for the most part he had all 'the right answers' today and for anyone that doesn't 'know' him like we do, he sounds like a reasonable candidate. It will be interesting to see if his actions reflect these words. We all know he didn't improve service at Fiserv and in some cases actually made it worse. As I understand it he won't have the ability to decide age hikes, elimination of benefits or increase in the SS tax cap - actual SS policy...but will only have ability to impact the efficiency of the department - staff, offices, technology, etc...I also think (hope) he will be held accountable by the millions of American citizens...and not just a few thousand Fiserv clients. He will need to improve the current metrics and can't just increase phone wait times without actually providing resolutions. I'm happy he will be done with Fiserv, just not sure yet how awful he will be for the SSA.
On another note: I sure hope these republicans are correct in stating they aren't going to touch these services. They say it with such confidence that if it is dissolved, they will be eating crow!!!
Funny, frank doesn't know what "lock doge out" means, but he knew how to give the orders to lock out multiple legit employees from servers across FTS and other departments.

History is bound to repeat itself. He’ll push the RTO and cut those who can’t—or won’t—comply. Customers (that’s us, or our parents and grandparents) will be upset—not because of the changes, but because customer service won’t actually improve. And yet, we’re locked into the SSA. Just like Fiserv clients, we’re too embedded to easily walk away. Bottom line—we’re stuck, and yeah… we’re kind of doomed.

I am. I am currently collecting social security so I don't want him confirmed but it is going to happen I think. I want it for all my friends who are still at FISERV. My social security benefits are not complicated so I don't think he will have any effect on me, so I'd rather have my friends be done with him.
