I was laid off in June and I’m on my third billing cycle for my family plan post-layoff and I’m still getting half off. Does anyone know when the employee discount ends? I was told two cycles but surprised it’s still there..

@ag Spot on. Switch to T Mobile at Costco and get some Costco bucks. No brainer. Better service and much cheaper even with the Vz discount
There was nothing about the employee phone discount in my packet for the July RIF 🤷♀️ I am keeping Verizon till I see it drop then I'll switch where I get a discount with my new employer.
I have seen people go years after quitting it getting fired before it drops so we will see what happens
@OP prepaid options are cheaper and better service. cancel and port out to att or tmo. my family is saving over $80 monthly and the service is actually better
I have a friend who kept it for nearly 2 years and then randomly lost.
OP, Your layoff packet has a section in it that explains how long your employee personal concession account discounts last at 50% and then move to the new standard 25%. For those of us laid off in December 2025, it was 12 months at 50% and it then moves to 25%. I recommend printing the packet and reviewing the details for your discounts, insurance, etc. It was a lot when presented all at once, but it’s all in there. No surprises.
