Thread regarding Honeywell International Inc. layoffs

Shocking Ottawa, Canada

You'll be shocked how many friendships and families have been torn apart because one manipulator convinced everyone else they were the victim. Narcissists and manipulators often use gaslighting tactics to distort reality, making others doubt their own perceptions and sanity. By playing the victim, they can gain sympathy and support from others, while actually maintaining control and dominance over the situation.

This can lead to a phenomenon known as "triangulation," where the manipulator uses other people to control and manipulate their target. By convincing others that they are the victim, the manipulator can turn friends and family against each other, creating conflict and division.

In some cases, the manipulator may even use smear campaigns or character as----------n to damage the reputation of their target. This can be particularly damaging when the target is a loved one, such as a family member or close friend.

It's essential to recognize the signs of manipulation and gaslighting, and to be cautious of individuals who consistently play the victim or seek to control others through guilt or anger. By being aware of these tactics, we can protect ourselves and our relationships from the toxic influence of manipulators.

Ultimately, it's crucial to prioritize empathy and understanding, while also maintaining healthy boundaries and critical thinking. By doing so, we can build stronger, more resilient relationships and communities that are less vulnerable to manipulation and abuse.

The individual that secretly whines via email or chat is usually the manipulator.

How are racists similar to a tornado?

All it takes is one to destroy a neighborhood?

@af So very SAD but true! Racism isn't always about colour, culture, religion, languages etc...It can take the form of simply isolating one or two people from a group luncheon, outside gathering or a culture group chat that encompasses the same people all the time. Racism is happening to the Canadian white folks too!

It's a very toxic environment and has been for a very long time. Will it ever change, I doubt it very much! There is no hope as the older employees carry on the toxicity and it spreads to the new employees. How does anyone fix it? In addition, there are groups of certain foriegn cultures that gang up on other cultures. It’s a no win situation, unless you leave the company.
