Does anyone have experience with Parental leave when both parents work for Wells Fargo? Do both parents get 16 weeks leave as primary parents?
What happens if you get a layoff notice while on leave?

@b8 This changed in 2021, where WF now allows both parents to take Primary when both are employed at WF.
It's in the definition. One parent is designated primary and gets the 16 weeks. The other chooses secondary and gets 8. WF doest care who it is (gender doesn't matter), but you can't have 2 primary. What's so hard to understand??
16 weeks is just nuts you guys. We’re a business trying to make money, not a nonprofit.
Nope, all wrong. If you want 16 weeks, it must be taken the day after birth. You can take the 4 weeks anytime in the first year, but must be taken consecutively. Can't split up the 4 weeks.
Also, Wells knows who's married to other employees. They specifically called out primary vs secondary so both Wells employee parents can't take 16 weeks off for the same child.
I went through all of this and asked HR the same thing while determining which option is best.
Typically you get leave then one of you get laid off.
Some hawt trash in here.
You can BOTH be primary IF you take the leave consecutively and not concurrently. Eg: Parent 1 takes it first for 16 weeks while Parent 2 takes the next 16 weeks. If both want to be off at the same time then only one can be primary.
Greedy, you should be thankful you both still employed
I don’t understand why fathers need 16 weeks. I don’t think this happened in the hunter/gatherer era
How can both parents be primary? One gets 16 weeks and the other gets 4 weeks.
