5th Circuit Court of Appeals issues emergency halt to Biden Vaccine mandate

"U.S. federal appeals court issued a stay Saturday freezing the Biden administration’s efforts to require workers at U.S. companies with at least 100 employees to be vaccinated, citing “grave statutory and constitutional” issues with the rule. The ruling from the Fifth Circuit comes after 19 Republican-led states filed legal challenges against the new rule, which is set to take effect on Jan 4."

Just in, fifth circuit court issues are new ruling for Honeywell. Stating you all be laid off or RIF.

The court decided not to have an injunction. Which would have stated that the layoffs were on hold. Next quarter they're going to be paying big dividends and bonuses.

The money they save for not paying you for the holidays we're increased their margins.

Let the movie Batman. Honeywell has a saying. If you must be let go, go with a smile. I love that honeywell.

@1xtm I don't believe that you can read and comprehend. @1zpa was not saying they had a reaction to the vax. They said that they got sick after returning to work.

Feels like a cold.
Welcome back to work.
Hint.. make sure you put that you are having symptoms.
Insurance will pay for test but only if you are sick.

The court only affects Texas, Honeywell has a hard line for December 8th, even though OSHA has set Jan 4th

@izpa. I don’t believe you are telling the truth.

Two of my sons had a mild reaction which lasted for two days immediately.

My reaction to the shingles vaccine was more difficult than reactive to covid vaccine

I'm vaccinated.
Just finished first week back at work.
No other contact with people in last ten days beside office.
Woke up today with sore throat, headache, and fever for first time in two years.
Covid test tomorrow I guess.. getting hard to find them in Florida and they want $150.

We’ll see how long this lasts. I remember this happening before. One federal judge put an injunction. Then another federal judge removed it. Then do you remember when they wanted to emergency injunctions. Halt mandatory vaccination injunction from state of Maine. The Supreme Court denied them.

Who runs America. Corporate America run the government. This case will be rushed to the Supreme Court. It will be very interesting to see how the Supreme Court rules on this particular matter. If for some reason you lose, your challenges will be done.

This could make a very good reality show. As the stomach turns. Only way to get around this. Work at a company that has less than 100 people.

My hats are off to you. You’ll have the right to exhaust all your legal options. It’s all over once the supreme court rules. I’m betting on corporate America who has unlimited funds.

Your package will run dry before corporate America package run dry.

Regardless of jabs, you can still get and spread COVID. Your argument holds no water. If it did, I could sue your a$$ every time you don't take a sick day when you might be sick, cough, sneeze, or don't wash your hands. Grow up. My rights don't begin where your foolish fears and want to take it in the shirts ends. Let's go Brandon and his sheeple!!!!!

@1wrz, if you are responding to me, @1cmb, your retort makes no logical sense. I got the shots with the aim of protecting myself, therefore I don't give a r4t's rumpus what you do. Get it, don't get it...I am unaffected by your decision.

You mean I don't need to take the jab so yours will work?

Just got my 3rd shot and I'm absolutely fine. I did it for ME so I don't concern myself with what others do or don't do.

AZ AG mandate case is being heard on 11/10 before the 11th Federal Circuit. The vaxxed are getting the delta and spreading it not the unvaxxed as per Dr. Peter McCullough!

Ah ge-z, you obviously don’t care about your fellow workers, or do you want to see an end to this worldwide nightmare

Just get a jab like MILLIONS of others and move on.

You obviously don’t care about others, it’s all me me me.

Time to start suing people who can be proven to be spreading the virus in the workplace, not the company

Stop spending misinformation

It is very encouraging news. People's voices are finally being heard. Hope we can get electronic voting back in with in person voting so the true number of votes get counted and not what the post office decides which votes get counted.

As clearly stated, this is for the 100 or more employees (OSHA) mandate. It is however a great sign that the rest of the "mandates" (executive orders) will be stayed as well and then be struck down as unconstitutional. If they are not, then the supply chain & economy will likely collapse by the end of January.

The Order requires all executive departments and agencies of the federal government to ensure that covered contracts and contract-like instruments include a clause (“Clause”) requiring covered federal government contractors and subcontractors at any tier (“Covered Contractors”), for the duration of their respective contracts, to comply with the requirements of the Order and all guidance published by the Task Force.  The requirements apply to new contracts awarded on or after October 15, 2021, and to contracts entered before that date when an option is extended or an extension is made.

Unfortunately the judicial stay order only mentions the OSHA executive order. The majority of Honeywell sites seem to be following the other mandate for businesses with federal contracts. I'm curious if that mandate would also be affected.
