It's become very clear to me that I would get a promotion sooner if I went somewhere else than if I stayed here. Manager's empty promises for a promotion not only demotivated me, but were was also a great source of frustration. I understand that sometimes they are not able to promote employees even if they want to, but why the empty promises?

You won't even be CONSIDERED for a promotion if you are remote. Doesn't matter if you are exceeds, high performer, nothing. It's an auto-disqualification.
Ugh!! The contract employment is the biggest scam!! I always came as an employee, never a contractor. Fiserv will thread you along just as long as you’re needed then dump you. No layoff no benefits no nothing.
Never never never do contract to perm with this place unless you simply name a contract rate high enough to satisfy you knowing you won’t get benefits or suitable employment. No time off no nothing.
Fiserv medical was poor but 401 was really pretty good if you went self directed.
Had to take the good with the bad but the bottom of barrel was definitely contract to perm.
I was a contract employee and the rumor was that they are generally converted to staff within a year. Yeap, never happened. So don't believe anything Frankserv tells you.
If you are remote you will never get a promotion. Don’t ask me how I know 😩
