We lost someone to layoffs on our team in finance today. Anyone else?

4 layoffs on my broad team. last day was today. all 4 were marketers and they had been here 3-8 years
i think they either got notified this past Monday or the monday before which would make it a two week notice

Everyone under 30, huh? I guess that made up for the plus 50 year olds they laid off in other groups.

@ac I remember during covid, they laid off everyone who was under 30 years old in my org. Very mysterious.
Marie Myers is a cancer, this is not a surprise. She would lay off her whole organization if she could.

Small sample size, but everyone who has been canned in my org is a homosaxual. Every single one. I don’t know if this is targeted or if maybe those guys were biters.
