It’s almost impressive how Leadership consistently fumbles the bag. At this point, if they accidentally made a decent decision, I’d assume it was a clerical error.

Everyone sees the double standard—no one’s fooled. The company has made it very clear that even people with deep system and process knowledge are replaceable. They love reminding us of that. Meanwhile, there are still “virtual” employees living right around the corner from a hub!!!

But sure—let’s keep pretending there’s any real logic behind who gets flexibility and who doesn’t. At the very least, if not forced to move why aren’t they expected to RTO to a hub like everyone else? Entire teams have been decimated because they’re “too far” from a hub. Not ONE person was spared. Before you say they weren’t needed, let’s remember their work is being passed off to someone who does RTO in a hub—delaying everything and tanking efficiency.

So if you’re one of the few granted virtual status, please stop gaslighting your peers. The favoritism is clear, and the brown on your nose isn’t going unnoticed. You may have worked hard—but not necessarily harder than anyone else—and being treated differently doesn’t earn respect. It only puts you in the same category as those who played a very different game to climb the ladder….

Are we bitter? Damn right we are. We’ve been treated like second-class citizens, so yeah—we’re pi---d. It’s apparently what they want! Leadership has built a culture dripping with resentment and discord. If they were even remotely transparent, they’d just stop pretending and change the NWV tag to what it really is: VAK — Virtual A-s Kisser.

The pettiness and jealousy and downright anger some of you have toward employees that are still virtual, which in most cases is because they simply don't live close enough to an acceptable office to commute to daily is sad.

I know plenty of really good people (both good and good workers) who were let go for simply not being in a hub. Some were hired virtually. So when you say it's sad, it's really sad that there are so many exceptions made for one person over another that has nothing to do with how good a worker someone is.

The company created this system. Legg said nobody would be let good for being in a hub and then the weasle backed down and let go hundreds of his people for not being in a hub. And the BS going on with creating new hubs on behalf of his reports while others were let go for not being in a hub is just more of this same BS

Still here because my services are still needed I guess, and I’m good at my job. I go to the office 100 miles away once a month. Sometimes twice.

It's NOT because you are good at your job. I know dozens who were let go who weren't in hubs that were good at their jobs. You either are a favorite of someone or you have some kind of skill that's harder to replace. But being good at your job has nothing to do with retention of anyone anymore.

Therefore miles is NOT the only reason to be allowed to WFH.
You need to have the “back” and “approval” from your boss and above ie, you need to be “liked”.
Ask anyone at the office are they would spell it for ya clearly. oh that’s right you work from home .. The irony of speaking when you don’t have a clue.

I don’t want them fired, I just to see all of Jeremy’s people come to the office like everyone else. Wasn’t that the goal? Making our workforce reflect our communities? Well come on man, let’s get to it. Does that track with you bit$h?

@ay NVW are not supposed to be leaders. They are supposedly pretty good individual contributors that are good in their jobs and also have people skills and are essential to the project.

Wrong. Am still virtual because the closest office I can report to is 100 miles away. There used to be one a bit closer but it was closed down. Still here because my services are still needed I guess, and I’m good at my job. I go to the office 100 miles away once a month. Sometimes twice.

What does this even mean? I am on a team that’s spread across the country and have never even met my boss in person, nor anyone else on my team.

I know a NVW and he is weak as they come. Not a leader and has a crew that are 5x8. He’s expecting to be forced to Atlanta. Weird that he doesn’t have to go in to the nearby office. Nor does his boss. I saw some guys today that I hadn’t seen in a while. Coming in 2 days a week to the wrong location and no problems. Their “boss doesn’t care”
