When you go out on disability and you're in sales, do you get commission while you're gone?

I don't know about us but I have a friend in another company that averages out like 3 months of commissions to use that as the salary
Verizon gets paid commission while out on short term that's why I asked
What commission would you get paid on if you’re on leave and not selling?!? Walk us through scenario where it would make sense to pay you on commission.
