Any news on whether Concord, CA will remain a speciality hub next year?

What does it matter? 25% of FCRM will be AI'd out within a year from transformations in-flight, and the problem will sort itself.

Ask DF! he is the only one that can answer this question.
He might actually do that when they announce the plan for 2027 like they did for the past 3 years

It's gratifying to know, at least, that the team you speak of in COO will themselves be downsized eventually. Unlike the rest of us, they will deserve it for helping HY implement this treachery.

There will be a Site Strategy 2, reducing to <10 Core locations and forcing team co-location along the way. There’s an entire internal consulting team in COO whose job is this strategy.

After announcing core and specialty markets in early 2024, many groups have reduced their list of cities in this last 12 months. The trend is fewer cities and colocation of team.

Expect "specialty markets" to only be used where specific skills need to be sourced, not as places were jobs that can be filled in other markets exist.

I'm not agreeing with any of this, just sharing what I know about the approach.
