Have you all been taking note on the timing of AES and RIFS? Every year for the past 7 (that I know of) the AES comes out, the aggravate employees to make sure they take them with a million reminders and then at the close of the AES, BO-M!!!!! RIFS or other bad news! It's like clockwork.

@nn are you in leadership?
Just got the early retirement email. 😬
@ks yes, the strat teams who hound you for answers, twist your answers, and then try to use those things against you while having no utilitarian understanding of them. Centerwell has been through strategy team after team and nothing changes except we are stuck in a wash/rinse/repeat cycle. Is this a Saturday night live skit? This can't be real life with a corporation. Some strategy people came to my market not long ago and I was taken aback by the arrogance and appearance of one of them who repeated "good to know" in a heavy northern accent as if that information would be stored to use against us later. It is a culture of mistrust that has been perpetuated by the leaders in this org.
I can literally cut and paste same aes responses. Nothing changes except next external strat team that we are forced to educate while simultaneously getting questioned lol. Dig holes to bury same workflow then dig them back up and serve with po-p mayo.
@aa didn't say it was ethical or right. It's a standard business practice for all corporations. A quarterly calendar, RIFs happen ever quarter. This ties into what you hear on earrings calls. This is a business, you work for the shareholders. A survey a formality, to show they care. They stopped caring 10 + years ago.
@a5 there is nothing normal about manipulating people into doing a survey before they are fired.
This is a normal business cycle. Every quarter has a RIF notification timeline.
Correct! It is all a game and we are the pawns. Your leaders wants you to submit a happy AES before they bend you over.
