Why push for HPU instead of new lines?

Thought the whole point was to earn higher commission check which entails NEW lines as opposed to HPU????

Doesn't make sense for management to push this it seems like they're just trying to prevent us from earning higher commission checks

Management is harassing every employee possible to get HPUs. How should this be reported to the Ethics Team (If there is one lol Social Media should be the perfect platform). Glassdoor polishing, painting a good picture vs hiding reality etc are the things of the past, people know better themselves Whoever comes in the store either to drop off their trade in devices, simply checking an account counts against us? Guess what? NOT everyone who walks in the store is gonna buy something. BUT the people from DOS are simply harassing the he-l out of employees to not worry about anything else bcz somebody above them wanna look good and get that FAT bonus check and reps at the bottom level suffer because of this newly designed system to manipulate us. Everyone remembers HUM, Yahoo, infamous “Second Number” BS, and much more and now these “NOT MAKING SENSE” HPUS. An easy transaction has to be stretched out based of off AI designed BS and then one’s gotta clear it & move forward on top of that the whole system issues. Basically let AI choose the BS recommendations its giving the customer, and then wait for the system to load up and do the transaction times and making customers wait longer and hence bad customer experience. BUT somebody above wants to earn those BONUSES & SHINE but just simply do a “Fill the fridge” ceremony or pizza sellouts etc & yet they think people are just mere pawns on the table. The current CEO needs to go away. A fortune 50, not 500 shouldn’t act like that if they wanna save a somewhat of a reputation left out there in PUBLIC!! If there ever were to he UNION talks, we should ALL VOTE FOR IT!!

Because their compensation strategy is all about new and and it's starting to bite them in a-s.

All those 2024 ghost new lines, that were really upgrades, is going to really bite them in the a-s later.

They are chasing growth that doesn't exist. Even the street questioned last year's results about stupid second number and how our add a lines is not proportional to macro population growth.

They need to care about the base and pay sales to take care of it vs stuffing existing accounts with BS.

It's all a charade and a massive churn bubble is waiting to pop. You would think they would have learned their lesson with free tablets, hums and jetpack. Now it's smartphones and they are going to be fu---d.

nothing makes sense right now.
They have lost the plot and are blaming everything on the front line. Not the fact that we jacked up prices and drove everyone away, that we are nickel and diming customers for stuff that used to be included or that 90% of our door swings are people bringing back trade-ins.
Company is down bad and there aren't any leaders that can do anything besides regurgitate the lashings that they got all the way down to the bottom. Y
ou would think that with they way they act that people were actively NOT trying to sell anything and just walking every customer.
Quotas are so jacked up and they got us in situation that you're better off not pulling a customers account.
