Thread regarding Fiserv Inc. layoffs

Fiserv is Wonderful

To combat all of the negative, my experience is Fiserv is a wonderful company filled with great people. There are some things that do not work as well but it isn't digging ditches and hauling trash to the public dump.

Also, this is a layoff site. I haven't seen or heard of any layoffs. So that should be great for us as we refocus on our merchants and our banks who need us and our products and services.

Namaste.

@a9 These people have never worked in their life a real job and have spoons in their a-s. Don't mind them for thinking Fiserv is he-l. They got more surprises in store for them.

@a9 sure it's dept based but clients are leaving. Lots of them..because of promises broken, lack of support and overall lackluster responses.

I can see you have not been at Fiserv very long. Good for you! And not sure what your role is at Fiserv, guessing not a role that is client-facing and has to deal with the How do we get the work done with the Lack of Resources we don't have. The rest of us have known a much better world (pre-First Data Reverse takeover). Keep up the hard work and when it comes your turn, feel free to come back here and speak your mind. In time you will figure it out all on your own.

You haven't seen or heard of any layoffs? So, you've worked here for three, maybe four months?

Quiet Quitting as we type. The new Fiserv direction for anyone. Get out. Get out. This train has left the tracks and a nasty environmental hazard is about to hit the financial world.

Didn’t read your post but I’m quiet quitting as we speak. Hoping to get laid off soon.

Gotta be one from shilly who I hope rode that rocket into the ground with shareholder value going to he-l. Oh browse news outlets and there are plenty of reports (excluding those many posts here) of layoffs too. This is a lie folks. Notice it avoids sapience too.

In my two years here, I haven’t noticed any significant differences compared to other fintech or banking tech firms I’ve worked in. There’s a constant drive to improve things, but there are also areas where things are broken. Additionally, there’s an overemphasis on compliance that slows down feature shipping, and there are some inefficiencies that I’ve observed. Your mileage may vary.
