@a8 Find out where they went to undergrad. If its outside of the united states they are on H1B.

Just check the linked in. If they were in India in last few years they are on H1B or L1B. The green card wait period is 100 years for Indians.
So my team is all remote. I am the only non-indian. How do I even know their immigration status? Unless they tell you no one knows whether they are H1B or not.
Start documenting H1B and outsourcing jobs away from US soil. Because it's two different things.
