Thread regarding Verizon Communications Inc. layoffs

Remote work isn’t a perk, it’s efficiency

So, I’m done. Yes, the job market hasn’t been great lately. But I’m fortunate to have a skill set that gives me a competitive edge. There’s no way I’m doing an hours-long commute to the office. If Verizon doesn’t respect or need the skills and experience many of us bring to the table, and isn’t interested in using its talent in ways that benefit both sides, then I’m confident there are other companies that will.

RTO work isn’t a punishment, it’s efficiency. See how easy things change? Now get to the office, slacker.

Buh bye. Thanks for opening a job for someone who actually wants to work. Don’t let the door hit you on the way out. It’s laughable that you actually think a multi-billion dollar corporation needs YOU.
