So far I’ve heard layoffs in Wells Fargo Investment Institute.

Sadly after 10yrs in the company. I’m wanting a lay off and a severance package so I can start fresh.
I was in jail over the weekend. Did anything happen?
Tech got hit pretty hard. I’m one of the victim. lol
Time for the next chapter of my career. Let the winds of change take me there.
Good luck everyone! Peace!
Four in RMTA
Consumer tech - 4
At least 4 in CBCIB Digital
2 in CLT investment institute
Anyone know the layoff AU for 2025? Not the same one used in 2024 - 0180508.
Control got hit- either the bank knows the asset cap is being removed or has absolutely no idea how much work is on control’s plate.
Merchant Services in Phoenix lost several managers and various partners as well.
COO Group here. Couldn't respond to my own (and 5 members of my team) layoff yesterday. My access to everything was removed BEFORE the meeting with my boss.
I was actually on the phone at CIC with the help desk trying to figure out why everything disconnected when my boss called my cell. Too funny. Playing pickleball this afternoon and have a tee time for tomorrow afternoon. Will COBRA for 11 months then on to Medicare and retirement at the end of the severance period. This will be my last visit to this board which has kept me focused on my goal of getting displaced. Thanks everyone.
It never is.
Charlie here...
My bonus is dependent on your layoff. Please do not complain or else I will need to reevaluate severance packages. Thank you.
Respectfully, descriptions of these layoff rounds remind me of the battle scene in the movie Braveheart when the English rained down arrows on the Scots. Except it happens over and over. Arrows rain down, survivors bare their bottoms here, another volley of arrows, and so on.
Some tech workers that support Auto
A few from Legal
I work at TFAD in the FX department in DFW. Thankfully there were no layoffs, but some our leaders (BD and FF) have let us know they could be coming in q2, specifically in our QGAT dept at the p4 level. Makes us all a bit nervous.
@b6+1jk8xmwtf Spot on. OCDR no clue here either. I don’t know wtf WXPS stands for but that is the group responsible for the desktop experience. VDI, cloudPC, the software delivery as well IIRC.
I believe the abbreviations are:
ODCR = Overdraft Collections
CPG =Corporate Properties Group
WFA = Wells Fargo Advisors
WXPS = Workforce Experience & Productivity Solutions
CIB = Corporate Investment Banking
COO = Chief Operations Office
If you don't know what six of those are, you must not work here.
The only lesser known ones are WXPS and ODCR. No clue what those are. I'm assuming IT or Risk.
What are all these abbreviations? How much time do you save by not typing it out? CPG, WFA, CLT, WXPS, CIB, COO, WLS, ODCR.
managers in ODCR across several sites, Hillsboro, Roanoke, and Charlotte
I'm assuming a lot of those were WLS situations. I know they are going to hammer them this year along with remotes.
Yes, sadly, Tech was affected this time. Saw some peers get displaced and some of them were not remote.
How many admin?
7 people coo tech not about location strategy
Admins let go today. Regardless of site/hub location.
Good luck to the fallen. FHY.
Control team
Employees and a manager that supports Treasury Management
2 from my team in CPG, remote
CIB COO in Charlotte
Tech > EFT > WXPS > Chandler. I’m certain others on my team in other locations were also let go. I let my confidence get the best of me being in a core location, so it was a bit of a shock. Wishing everyone luck since there was zero knowledge transfer.
Winston Salem got hit today. Mix of teams and managers
CLT - 1 manager (that I am aware of)
Insurance in STL /WFA
135 today in WIM across Control, Investment Institute, staff groups, and WFA
1 from my team in CPG, Charlotte.
heard of tech and control so far
