Thread regarding Honeywell International Inc. layoffs

Taco truck

When the economy was in a lull and Honeywell had cancelled raises for the corporate good. MANAGEMENT hired a taco truck for the peons.
Before that time and since, Honeywell is like Brooklyn in the 1980’s, “the good get out.”
What is the rationale? Hey, why not bring in cheap, cr-p food and let people eat this food and forget their raises?
I wish Honeywell was on better terms. In recent years since. It has not been only steadily worse. It’s sad and the people left are suffering.
The good get out. Take the hint.

Chat GBT says.... No, a veteran does not need to be "broke" to use the VA for medical care, as eligibility is based on factors like service history, disability rating, and income, with some veterans eligible regardless of income

@gs+1jq7wrbyk I personally know that to be false. I know MANY vets on 100% disability, working full time jobs and using VA for everything from alcohol abuse to new baby births.... How is a new baby or a vasectomy a covered service related issue? Come on DOGE fix this!

For a veteran to get medical care through the VA, that veteran must have no real assets. Those of us that worked and developed assets after our military service will get no free medical care unless we have nothing. If we have only a little, then we can get VA care at a discounted cost.

the veterans get life long medical care, free college education and in many cases 2 million vets are on disability for life. Some of these people served 4 years in non-combat roles and get paid because they have trouble sleeping.

If trouble sleeping is reason for disability, how many former HWers deserve it?

Brooklyn? Way to high brow. More like the south bronx in the 1970's.

I was at the taco truck that came to NJ64. Management meant well, corporate greed ruined the vibe, of course.

"cough a-th-m cough" - That is harsh, but very fair. Anthem is a giant mess that should have cost most of the avionics executives their jobs.

Also HTF-NG, haven't we already spent most of a billion dollars of RDE on an engine with no airplane?
