Does anyone know if there is some kind of severance package if you are let go?

@a7 I don’t know this for sure, but I heard that they are wanting about 2k for the ERP. This I read in chat and was posted by the HR lady-the others will be performance based, so I’m not sure the total they want to reduce

@by Greedy? We’re not working some non profit it’s a FortuneX company with 80000 employees. Everyone is here for themselves, including you. Plus, as an associate here you have had every opportunity to improve your position through education, to develop skills that are marketable someplace else, whatever. Su-ks you didn’t advocate for yourself and act on opportunities made available to you to improve your position. That is 100% on you and has nothing to do with whatever someone else does, feels, whatever. Grow up.

@c8 not everyone was irresponsible. some may have had unexpected life altering events that ruined them financially, you cannot be that ignorant.
I have been here 18 years and I have never heard of another company that has the fear of lay offs every couple of years. This is terrible

Most can’t retire as we don’t have resources. Those that have resources are greedy a-holes and won’t retire. I know a person bragging they have 1.5 million in accounts and refuse to retire because they want more. This person went on to tell me that they didn’t give a damn about anyone else that “it’s every man for themselves “.

ALWAYS have your CV up to date regardless of what company you work for. No company is stable anymore. Sad.

Not until after ERP decision timeline and only if they don’t get enough people to retire. I doubt they will get enough people, though.
