Displaced medical coverage

Displaced employee here - severance runs out early April. I'd rather stab out my own eyeballs with a rusty spoon before I attempt to call HR, so I'm asking here.
I believe the medical coverage will run through the end of that month.
Can anyone confirm or deny this? TIA

My experience (which may not be true for all). My last paid day of severance was Nov 1. My medical coverage went through the end of November.

"No. Regular insurance coverage ends on the final paycheck of your NOTICE PERIOD. The only way you'd have insurance during severance is if you take the COBRA option"

My mistake. Yes, this is incorrect.

THIS IS 100% FALSE.

@a3+1jh3cr691 - not true. you get the same coverage you have during your 60 day notice. If your severance kicks in before the end of the year, its the same coverage/cost you had normally. For the new benefit year, you need to re-enroll but you DO get same benefits coverage, non-COBRA. COBRA kicks in after severance ends.

If you signed up for 2025 insurance you get insurance through the end of the month your severance ends. They did have an issue with employees displaced in December but it is fixed and people should have the insurance they signed up for during annual enrollment.

This is the wrong place to ask. You have to call the HR.
