XOM planning on buying Woodside! Meg makes sense

Megs ears are ringing right now. BP shares a lot in common with Woodside. Much more than XOM does. But, it would be viewed as a conflict of interest. But, Meg at BP this went away.

How many more oil companies will be left after this consolidation phase?

BP is a partner in Thunder Horse it would be far easier for XOM to take Woodside to the Woodshed for project sanctioning. Also, XOM would divest non ops which would benefit BP in the short term. Similar to what happened with BP increased ownership in the MC area of the GoA. Bring on the rain

BP is too much of a burden for XOM to consider anyway. The brazil finds that are being touted are complex to develop, gta is a secret financial disappointment, they have been trying to partner kaskida & tiber for more than a year with no takers, ns is dead...XOM is laughing at BP

Meg plays 3D chess…she couldn’t have waited 1 year till XOM consummated Woodside! Clearly Woodside is concerned about Trion and LNG…as the Ozzie said…
Leadership was made for a sale not to continue as a going concern…

You can’t make this drama up! Let me just say…oil companies and their investors have ZERO faith in their exploration teams. It’s better to buy production…
