Doesn't mean it isn't coming but there's no WARN notice in WA state or the state I work in currently.

Feel d-mb for posting this yet?
As others have stated, the WARN Notice is delayed by providing the 60 day evergreen period where you are still technically employed.
This only applies to FTE teams eligible for a severance package of course.
At the Bellevue Campus today, desk moving boxes were distributed to mailrooms in preparation, and went unnoticed by nobody.
@a1 They did a warn notice in 2023 for Bellevue.
Some will be checking WARN, thinking they are safe, and then, WALLAH!! they find out that even though their work access has been disabled, they are technically still employed . . . . at the end of 2 mo period, they are gone, along with their excellent health care and employee phone plans, etc.
WARN is filed the day you are informed. They cheat system by giving you 60 days of evergreen employment so nothing can be leaked early
How many times does it have to be explained that they can do the layoff whenever they want, but because of the garden period they don’t have to report to WARN right away
Severance at or exceeding 2 months negates the WARN filing. That's how they can bypass that.
@a2 that’s factually incorrect
Ditto... they technically are employing you for 2 months... thus, you won't see your particular WARN until after you get axed
@OP they won’t do a WARN notice. They file after the fact
Checked my state and nothing, but then again I never saw notification from the Magenta Wedding in 2023. The criteria is pretty specific and what's happening may not be enough.
