Thread regarding Oracle Corp. layoffs

Promises broken

When Oracle bought Cerner, they tried to convince us that there wouldn't be mass layoffs. That was enough to prevent a mass exodus. 3 years later and they've gutted the company. All of the buildings in KC are empty, even the campus they kept is a ghost town.

Who is "they"? Corporations are not human. And multinational billion dollar corporations are psychotic. The people who work in them will make promises knowing they don't know what they are talking about. They simply do what they are told. It is rare for a so called leader to tell the truth and resign to save their soul. Lesson learned. Do not trust corporate drones.
