I got IM for 2025 because I refused to give IM to team members who didn't meet productivity expectations. Still waiting to be laid off. I fell on the sword for my team. Didn't get a raise or bonus. Maybe I should have given the whole team IM.
@af m3 here. Never got an IM or lower. Only meets or exceeds. Pushed to the curb in 2025.
Why would they not?
Of course they can and have. Happens all the time.
If they need to get rid of managers than they can certainly get an IM like anyone else.
It happens, not very common though.

2 managers on my team got IMs and were canned soon after
IMs are for the little people, not mgmt
