Yes email came out about the changes coming to Auto and Fire ILR....basically AI is doing way with this job for the most part. Will be a need for some people but basically those jobs are done. Also talked to someone in Auto U/W and a lot of them are getting the boot! They should offer severance to everyone, would be funny to watch 40% of the people walk out the door!

@OP new email was sent this morning advising that there would be layoffs. Transfers to claims is ONLY for service everyone else will be laid off. Either voluntarily or non voluntary but will happen.

Managers are being forced to talk about it but they also don’t know much.

Unfortunately what you see here IS TRUE! Don’t lie to yourself! THIS IS HAPPENING

@a1 evidently you missed transformation. And if you get severance you can still collect unemployment

Has any dept used involuntary yet though? Or is it just there as a last resort? Especially for the employees who get low reviews and cannot move, but their depts are shutting down.

Will someone PLEASE offer @cb a severance? Maybe then he can get a life and stop posting these paragraphs about how miserable life is everyday! We get it! Find a reason to smile...

NO, its a bot post that happens on every employer forum. State Farm doesnt lay off, they just make it so you want to leave, and do leave, then dont hire to replace.

Future of state farm is india, and AI. Once they replace entry level with india call center, theyll look to start promoting and replacing professional level with offshoring, or AI...which will do it cheaper and faster.

But no, there has never been layoffs at statefarm. theyll just close your office and ask you to move across country at your own cost, or force you into a claims department thats a total disaster and youll just leave on your own.

40% of all employees have been at SF 2 years or less and 80%, including leadership, has been at SF 5 years or less. Most areas in claims, 60-70% of the employees have been at SF 2 years or less. Prior to 2019, State Farm had the highest first year quit rate of any company in the United States which technically made it the worst place to work in America. Layoffs.....does it really matter? State Farm is a complete sh-t hole and they use the torture and abuse, burn and churn staffing model. Nothing but DEI hires and check the box Kool Aid drinkers. U/W is getting severance or being forced to move to claims. Old Fire ILR and Call Support teams are going to be given severance or forced other areas in claims. Email came out last week. Some people will get the severance but most will just get the shaft. This company is run by total and complete useless, moral-less, evil trash. Leave!!! I know so many people, including me, are just praying for a severance package. For what it is worth I hope you get it!

No layoffs, just "voluntary" and involuntary exit dates.

State Farm does not do layoffs. That would be ethical, they just torture and abuse you until you leave with significant mental and physical health damages so you are unable to function anymore.
