Thread regarding Verizon Communications Inc. layoffs

Boardroom Bozos

Let’s talk about the real ringmasters.

The boardroom.
A collection of out-of-touch lifers, ex-consultants, and recycled execs who mistake quarterly cuts for long-term strategy.
They rubber-stamp layoffs, greenlight fake transformations, and celebrate $2 stock bumps like it’s 1999.

No vision. No accountability.
Just PowerPoint slides, scripted earnings calls, and a deep fear of rocking the boat—because that boat is tied to their comp packages.

They let Hans shrink the company.
They let Sampath play CIO cosplay.
They watch customer churn rise and morale collapse—and respond with another org shuffle.

It’s not leadership.
It’s asset management in a suit.
And the clowns on LinkedIn? Just following the cues from the tent above.

“We’ve been very, very good on headcount,” bragged Verizon CEO Hans Vestberg last week — then admitted it’s “going down all the time.”

That’s not leadership. That’s liquidation dressed up as transformation.

The workforce has been in a slow, calculated bleed while leadership high-fives Wall Street with every quarterly “beat.” Talent is drained, morale is shot, and the C-suite is still pitching this as progress.

If headcount reduction is your primary metric of success, don’t be surprised when capability, innovation, and customer trust follow the same path — downward.

A Blackrock picked CEO, Board, and a bauna bacca boi running its money making group is how a company ends up circling the drain until an Apollo shows up and buys it on the cheap. Letting an incomprehensible Swede and a South Asian consultant with short man's disease is not how you win customers back.

This is ALL Blackrock and the Fink who keeps them linked to Woke, Globalism, and Failure. The worst part is that Blackrock, like State Street, and Vanguard, do it with YOUR own money! They use YOUR 401K investments to pick THEIR Board Members. This is an absolute criminal enterprise. The Verizon Board of Directors is as much of a clown show as Hans and his half pint dancing and prancing pet Sammy.

Blackrock is evil and so is the world economic forum.

This whole enterprise is Power Pointless.
Meaningless squiggly lines constantly on a video rotation in my office that supposedly shows something of meaning.
Just a bunch of meaningless video-producing bean-counter clowns drawing an undeserved salary while others toil. What a load of cattle droppings.

How do I really feel?
Like I’m watching a company trade people for PowerPoint decks and pretending it’s innovation.

This isn’t bitterness—it’s pattern recognition.
Layoffs dressed as strategy. Promotions handed out for silence. DEI quietly axed to make the numbers work.

If that makes people uncomfortable, maybe they’re not uncomfortable enough.
