After 60 day notice, 7/22 is the last date that avoids bonus payout (cutoff date 9/30 to be eligible) and conveniently avoids Q4 numbers. I'm hoping to make it to 8/5 or later just because of this.

It was big! 16 people impacted the team I was on. That was the most hit at one time I had ever seen.
For those in CSBB that have been waiting for their wave 4 relocation offer letters, Tuesday is the day that will happen. You'll have the same 30 day timeframe to make your decision just like waves 1 through 3 had. If you opt not to relocate then in mid-September you'll get your formal 60 day notice and your last day as an employee (not necessarily your last working day since that seems to vary from team to team) will be in mid-November. So you'll be eligible to get your annual bonus for 2025.
@ac match is 12/15
Yeah, but during the spring/summer it's a very safe bet. Been happening for years now. There are exceptions, and rounds that they seem to take "off", but most times it is a blood bath. We just don't perceive it that way because it's not happening to us personally.
@OP
Unless you are Shart or his minions, or work for the Displacement advisory group who sends out WARN letters to Mayors, you are just assuming 7/22 is going to be big.
That's the date for my mid-year review...
Bring it!
What do u mean by working closely with managers? Same reason this bank had all those problems. Managers are troublemakers trying to lobby for their survival
Yep. Getting axed 7/22.
I'll believe it when I see it. I can't catch a break with this place!
Maybe they will start popping people who don't work close to their manager..
This is the third "big" future layoff post in nearly as many days. The trolling is pathetic.
Do you have inside access OP? Nope.
@ah, earnings reports have so far been good. IMO they are keeping back a big announcement to use it when they have too. Earnings are this Tues 7/15. Also BE has to tee up -- doesn't she?
@ah don't completely disagree but we're getting closer to end of 2025 and beginning of 2026 where they've been targeting location displacement "due dates" strongly for years so in other words, we're coming to a head and likely harder push to meet Executive directives than prior.
@OP, you must be new here or you're just trying to incite the lemmings. There has been no significant correlation of the # of displacements as compared to any date for any extenuating event (end of quarter, 401k match, Bonus eligibility, Earnings Report, etc etc etc) in the YEARS that this has been happening. The only mild indicator is, as @a1+1k01t3e43 points out, the last round was smaller than typical so they may choose to hit it a little bit harder the next round. But there definitely will be no "blood bath" as has been touted here, again, for years. Most of us will continue to schlep, collect and wait for the cull.
Bonuses still aren't guaranteed though, so doesn't really matter. The only thing guaranteed is if your here by 10/15 to get the 401k match.
Middle level managers are begging wellsfargo India to take everything from here. They know something about this layoff. I am prepared .
Yeah, it's also a bad sign that the previous 'tuesday' was a smallish round for this time of year. Not going to be shocked if this one pushes 1000.
