Way back in the CheckFree days, I used the ESPP simply as a way to earn a quick 15% - sell the minute it hits my account. It's not that I didn't trust CKFR - I just liked the idea of a pretty risk-free way to earn 15%. Boy, was I wrong. We found out you couldn't sell it immediately (about a week delay), but I had my suspicions people at certain levels could. The stock price almost always started to fall right after the shares hit our accounts. The minute it was available to sell, I did so, often seeing the price drop to a point where I only got 5-10%.
It was so sad. I think, over the course of many years I managed about $1000/yr, BEFORE the short-term cap gains tax was figured. I'd jump through all those hoops for about $60/70 a month profit. Look at me! I'm in the big-time!
You can’t honestly be surprised. Frank got fat stripping fiserv of all value. Only people that remain are unqualified yes-men that lead by fear—not an ounce of integrity. I recall conversations discussing how to strategically get clients to terminate their agreements early so they could collect the early termination fees to meet their financial plan. It’s disappointing to see frank get away with this pump and dump scheme. The entire board and ELT need to be prosecuted and replaced. It’s amazing clients, employees and investors haven’t lined up to sue.
I mean did anyone think anything else was going to happen? Force the best employees out the door, layoff a bunch more and make the rest pick up the slack while slashing their benefits in a client and service oriented company lol. I mean really this is pathetic especially with their billions of stock buy backs.
Had to finally pay the piper after using financial tricks to mask a complete lack of product investment and leadership.
Lady Luck really showing ROI on Clover growth!!! It’s almost like hiring the Nike and vegan sandwich lady in place of the actual growth marketing team has impacted growth. Go figure!!
Rocket boy probably got RIF’ed
Where's rocket 🚀 boi when you need em
ride the rocket!
Looks like the shareholders have huge and ambitious expectations of Clover. I dont think other fiserv products are examined this close in terms of revenue.
Better together btw
Hence why those of us who rejected their stock shares to trap you were smart to tell them to kick rocks and REJECT them!
Now, go on the open market and buy some shares at this low price while retaining your freedom. I'm leaning toward having some faith that the price will rebound.
Why do I have a feeling that they’re going to go down the
“Beatings will continue until morale improves” route
instead of the
“We fu---d up let’s invest in talent retention” route
17% drop is serious. Especially since it just went thru a big drop at earnings. Should be very concerning.
Oh no! Did Frank get cashed out in time? Maybe the board can buy out his shares at the highest price and just make up the difference by laying off the sales team?

Wheres the person that bragged about being up 40% yoy?! Looks like he/she/they/them is down about 30% now LOL
The truth shall set you free as is being shown by the drop. The truth is out and the end is near.
It really makes you wonder about the couple previous quarters that pumped the stock price up.
Here's my potential silver lining. When we rely on hollow cost-cutting like layoffs to juice the numbers, it crops up in endless operational issues, erodes morale, and drives away the very people needed to turn things around.
Realistically, if there's any chance of righting the ship, it will take long-term thinking over sacrificing more and more expertise each quarter, even if Wall Street doesn't like that. If the new leadership is signaling a shift toward realism that could be a genuine turning point. Yet to be seen, the hard part is still ahead.
@a1+1jva8rm31 never buy a stock that doesn't have a have a dividend to fall back on.
Reap what you sow.
