Thread regarding CVS layoffs

Moving from Aetna to PBM side?

I was cut in August from Aetna and applied to the same clinical role over on the PBM side. The role has always been remote. However, I noticed some of the openings they have are now listed as Hybrid... Are they trying to move new hires into in-person?

Yes, all new reqs are supposed to be hybrid. I applied for a few internal positions in June/July and the recruiters pulled them/changed them once the return to work was announced. C-suite wants to do away with FT remote. I would love to see the stats on the layoffs from August...of the 5,000 how many were remote employees/not near a hub, etc. Good luck finding future remote roles with CVS.

Many jobs are being changed to work hybrid and definitely new requisitions are being posted as hybrid and not remote. That is a company push to get people to come into their empty buildings.

I'm in CT and I wasn't laid off. If they even try to make me come in for one day I'm quitting. Not happening.

Tell me you have not been paying attention for the last 6 months without telling me you have not been paying attention for the last 6 months…
