This chat room is suppose to be about layoffs. Nothing else, and somehow we have adults who comment on here like teenagers with BS story’s that hold no value. We know vz sucks, we know they’ve been making bad decisions for the past few years. We know they need to fix commission. All those are great topics but not for this room.

Idk about anyone else, but have been here over 10 years now. Looking at almost 6 months of severance. Let's the party begin next month. 0 work for like 3 months 🥳

Even though the forum is "The Layoff", why is it so bad that people also come here to vent and blow off a little steam? Many of the gripes that are shared are things that, if fixed, would lead to fewer layoffs. I would bet that most company boards on The Layoff have a similar mix of actual layoff related posts and sharing frustrations.

@OP, VZ's bad decisions are directly connected to employees' work-life balance and the layoffs, so it seems to me that the only person not being on-topic is you. Btw, if you aren't concerned about your job and don't have any issues, why do you even come to this "chat room"?
