Many sweet talkers, but mostly empty heads
Our old aromatics dept head GK was the best I seen. Cared about his people and delivered a lot for the site. Remember we he had mold in one of our ops shelter for months before he came in, cleaned it right up. Then got rid of chlorine at the site… then replaced facilities that were there in Ike. Then replaced our wharf. Didn’t see that much done ever in 20 years and treated us all respect. Would have been nice to have him during the storm yesterday running the show. Wonder what he up to nowdays

That recently appointed Supply Chain President is one heck of a guy- just had an energizing chat with him after his employee Forum in Brussels. I think I’ve seen the future …. And it’s looking bright.
The ones I admired a bit are all gone. Zero remaining- all just worried about themselves.
The best proactively left and moved into senior leadership positions elsewhere. They are the best - as they continue to answer calls / messages an offer advise and help make connections.

I have a really great manager. Would love to name him cause he deserves all the recognition but the mods don’t allow doxxing.

There are people who are de facto leaders that I admire, but they are not in "leadership" roles.
