In their current format. This battery issue is systemic and foundational. It sounds like it's back to the drawing board and that both vehicles will no longer be produced in their current iteration. I heard this on fairly good Intel. And now the rush is on to get the next gen of Ford EVs ready for production.
If this is true it's not good. It could take a while for the next gen to be ready. And by then Ford will be further behind Tesla and passed by several other competitors. It also shows that being first to market is great for hype, but can cost you down the line.
I hope for our sakes that this isn't true. If so, 2023 is going to be a nightmare for the company and we the employees.
