I hope I’m a part of this layoff. When you have people like me who have been around for 14 years wishing that they will be Riffed it should paint a picture of how toxic this place is. Let this 12 year old VP enjoy her toxicity and all her a.. kissing useless sr directors.

I don't think layoffs are coming up anytime soon or this year. Think about it Verizon cant give millions into severance right now after Verizon lost millions this year on giving credits for the outage we had in February. They need us to make that money back somehow and now that customer service has sell new lines and perks again. They need us to make up that loss!
@OP 17 years got rif end of December 2025 severance was meh 4 months bills the money kept me there but I make less but love what I do now and I never get home later than 4:40 sorry I don't do punctuation and such just figured I'd put my few cent in I've already been asked back but I know better

I am beginning to believe you have to be on naughty lists in order to be blessed with extra money and a one way ticket out the door. I have survived for 15 + years here and I feel the same way as op and others here. yes I could quit, that is not a problem... but quitting doesnt get me paid, all it does is get me the f out of the mess, AND creates another mess with my lifestyle ive built that vz money helped established. I am purposely going to get on a list to test this theory...
