Layoffs were pushed back a bit due to the NDA project along with another project but from what I've heard, layoffs are to be expected starting 3/6 and to go until 3/12. Rumors have it that ISG/CSG will be hit fairly hard along with low performing sales folks.

@c9 with Sudhir in place we'd be growing triple digits every day!
and get 70% of the bonus. TIming is everything.
Cut Friday before the RSU grants vest.
They can do whatever they want; i don't give a fu-k.
All the VPs and above are assembling rank list to identify top 75% in each org to keep. Bottom line is 25% HC reduction to be complete mid may across all functions with Corporate taking on a slight higher % of the 25. We all knew this was coming w a company the size of 98k. And by end of FY omg. AI is making it all possible and good to eat our own dog food.
@aj Except that is a blatant lie. Dell isn't big enough for Trump to give two F's about lol. Are you still bitter that MD visited the WH and spoke with Trump? Trump - or any President for that matter - has no say in what a privately held company can or can't do lol. Get that man out of your little mind and get a life outside of trump..
There has been WFR every day in ISG.
@df CSG brings more revenue?? Nope. Straight from last weeks earnings report:
Infrastructure Solutions Group (ISG)
Record full-year revenue: $60.8 billion, up 40% year over year
Client Solutions Group (CSG)
Full-year revenue: $51.0 billion, up 5% year over year
@c8 this doesn’t track. CSG brought in more revenue as a whole, however CSG operates on 1/3rd the staff that ISG does.
That is why ISG is seeing WFRs. Pound for pound ISG has 3x the amount of staff slightly less revenue.
@c9 You're not wrong, but that's far from the statement that I was replying to:
"They can't deliver sh-t. And if they ever do, it doesn't work."
If PowerStore doesn't work then why are so many customers buying them and coming back for more?
Always trying to get our hopes up.
Any updates about outsourced service providers? Are they going to be affected to ?
@ca Details?
It’s already started…
@c8 The focus shouldn't be on how much ISG brought in in total revenue (credit sales for that). The focus, rather, should be on how much more ISG COULD HAVE brought in with competent leadership. ISG leadership is a clown car.
@a6 PowerStore seems to be doing just fine, and ISG brought in over $4 billion in revenue recently just from selling storage. Dell would need to sell 4-5 million laptops to match that and would still make less money due to the lower profit margin on laptops.
Let's get on with it
you will know Friday when you get your business update invite. Have a good weekend.
@a6 Dells inept leadership is how ISG got this way, and yet ISG still manages to make more money than csg...... Maybe ISG isn't where extensive wfr is needed after all.
The big axe fell in early April of last year. We are definitely getting close.
They hit quite a few people 3 weeks ago in ISG hop.
@OP if they WFR people get rid of the terrible leadership team. They’re horrible.
@ab yes. That’s right. So much for “Go America” eh Mike?
Too bad Dell only does WFR on Monday
@ab Trump has asked Michael to close business in China.
I heard China team was hit hard. All work going to India. You can look at Dells job listing and see over 100 job openings in India.
ISG has needed a serious en--a for years! They can't deliver sh-t. And if they ever do, it doesn't work.
ISG here - was talking with a director at the office today and he said something similar but wouldn't elaborate. Now I'm freaking out
Had my 1x1 today and my manager/director mentioned that WFR's were supposed to start Friday but said our group should be OK... we'll see I guess :(
