I love to see all the out of work Vteamers in LinkedIn that gave the shareholders a 20% boost. This country is the greatest in history. Thank you, Dan for your bold and transformative decisions! And thank you to an excellent government that for decades has prioritized profits over people. The dividends are paying off - literally! #america250 #greatestcountryonearth

You got to give it to Tiger. With all that is going on in the market he has left us unscathed. Imagine the return if he had been allowed to lead earlier.

As a shareholder, I am supporting Dan , and he is doing a great job

Considering the wacky behavior of our Supreme Leader the stock has been pretty solid thanks to Dan. Bless him.

If you like how it is holding with this regime, I would hold till near the end of Dan's tenure. He will certainly deliver. A tiger doesn't do its thing for fun but out of instinct. I agree he isn't in for the long haul. What predator is? Once he makes a meal of his prey he will move on. Why not do the same?

@r5 LOL, the stock ballooned 20% after years of decline (observed by the very same re/tired "tiger" on the board) as thousands got axed and you are almost wetting your pants over it

Maybe think about portfolio diversification if the sudden artificial price action keeps you awake at night

Dan is doing what other CEO suppose to do,
This is a publicly traded company,
one of his task is to prioritize shareholder value

This man is pushing 70 years old he doesn’t have hit foot on anyone’s throat and it’s ironic to call him a tiger

The stock is up because of the dead weight VZ just shed. Yes Dan shed it, but any fool could have made the same call.

When I retired after 30 yrs in VZW in Q1 2023 (finally couldn’t take the Swede chef and his terrible minions any longer!) the stock was ~$37. I got recruited by T-Mobile and their stock was ~$141. Since then T-Mobile went to 270 in 3/25 and has been bouncing, current $218. Their ESOP gives you a 6 mo window to pool $$ and then they buy at a 15% discount off the lowest price in that window. They also do the RSU thing & everyone gets $30K worth @ Feb “Grant Day” for 3 yrs. I was lucky enough to be given a package in the most recent layoff and will leave a lot happier than my many co-workers & friends among the December ‘26 13K who never saw the stock above 60 over our tenure

Why deny Dan's success? Some of the arguments made seem to state that world events and or a Republican regime are the sole explanation for upping VZ value now and in the past. Following that logic it makes no difference who is running the corporation at all and we need to rely on turmoil or economic woes to retain VZ stock value.

ATT is just returning to its October value while T mobile is well below its July value. VZ is the highest it has been since 2022. @a2 you must be a financial wizard.

@a6 hogwash. If VZ was so safe and bond like why hasn't it been valued more before Dan? Why did it not jump up when the US took out Iran's nuclear program over the summer? Why did it not jump when Venezuela was raided along with a long list of destabilizing events that occurred over the last several years? It is Dan and his needed purging of VZ's workforce. One that moans about needing to go into an office.

@OP Verizon is well known as an equity that trades like a bond. The current ME conflict roiling markets is causing investors to seek safe (ok, safer) havens like "VZ."

@OP As Scott K noted, "VZ" trades like a bond. Current ME conflict roiling equities means "VZ" benefits as a known safe (ok, safer) haven.
