Who tf cares about model e . this place is a-s and people dont really know ford intimately other than it's a household brand. they don't know how trash this place really is on the inside. df can't even watch his own house so we watches others as a loyalty test!!!!

Whose going to be accountable for all the bloatware on your vehicle now? Absolute trash. Hire more H1Bs to write trash software thats not supposed to land on a vehicle in the 1st place.

That’s absolutely true. In my case, though, I eventually went to a separate team for that reason. They were clear that what happened was not acceptable, very poorly handled and that they weren’t happy about it.
They helped me organize my documentation in case anything escalated again or any further retaliation occurred. To be fair, I also received a lot of solid outside advice before reaching that point. By then, the damage was already done, and my only real goal was to ensure it couldn’t happen again, so at that stage, our priorities were well aligned. So, there are good and bad people, the key is to find the good ones, ask for help, and be honest.

This discussion of "accountability" at Ford is a farce. Everyone part of the Ford team has adjustments to their AICP when we don't deliver on our objectives. Even executive leadership has to accept the consequences when the team is obliged to, and at greater loss than the common working levels.

@a5 I think you mean scapegoat, not accountability, maybe vilified unjustly?
I’ve been vilified unjustly before, over an extended period. It disrupted my life for a while, and I’m still not entirely sure what it was all for.
I tend to think behavior like that points to integrity issues. In my case, after staying quiet and handling things privately, the company eventually seemed to figure things out (or at least I hope they did). I don’t know whether the person responsible was ever held accountable, and since I never asked for any of it, I wouldn’t be surprised if they weren’t.
In hindsight, sometimes being more vocal may be the better approach. Much later, I did explain what happened to HR. They coached me on how to address something like that earlier and more directly in the future, even if it might upset some people. It probably would have ended the situation sooner.

Accountability: Latin for does not exist at Ford. Additional meaning: Those to wrongfully held to blame when perpetrator of said event or issue is not held to task or deceptively diverts responsibility.
